Year-round Timber houses produced Timber Moon System technology are designed with high comfort of use in mind. We use ecological materials with high technical parameters. The houses are durable, have excellent insulation and resistance to external conditions. The constructions are designed with a large reserve of strength. They are made of the highest quality certified wood from Scandinavia. The walls consist of nine layers of different materials and have a total thickness of 30 cmThe facade of the walls is made of pine wood in a modern “breathable” technology and appropriately impregnated.

Wood is undergoing a renaissance and is becoming a symbol of wise and sustainable architecture. The most important advantage of using wood as a building material is the fact that it is a natural and ecological raw material. It is easily accessible and extremely durable in relation to its weight. It also has good insulating properties.

Some building materials can lose their strength and change their structure when the temperature rises. Wood on the contrary, dries out and becomes stronger. Thanks to the high specific heat, a wall made of wood stores thermal energy as well as much heavier concrete, brick or silicate walls.

If we want to keep the heat (or cool) in a year-round house and spend less money on heating (or cooling), then wood is a good alternative to brick, concrete or stone. Not everyone is aware that, for example, steel conducts heat 1,650 times faster than wood, and aluminium - as much as 7,000 times. Compared to these materials, wood can be treated as a material with perfect insulation. In addition, it accumulates heat very well.

For the construction of our year-round wooden houses, we use wood wool instead of polystyrene. Although the thermal conductivity coefficient λ (lambda) of polystyrene and wood wool is not much different, their specific heat is. And it is the specific heat accumulated in the walls that determines the thermal comfort in the house.

Thanks to the high specific heat, a wall made of wood stores thermal energy as well as much heavier concrete, brick or silicate walls.

Thanks to specially designed interiors and materials used, our houses have health-promoting properties and help restore psychophysical balance. Scientific studies show that staying inside wooden houses prolongs life! The fact that trees have a beneficial effect on our body was known already in ancient times. Their healing power was very often used in folk medicine. Also today, more and more doctors recommend their patients to spend as much time as possible surrounded by trees. For the production of our year-round wooden houses we mainly use pine, which is credited with antidepressant and antibacterial properties. Pine allows you to regain internal balance and also helps fight diseases of the upper respiratory tract because it facilitates the cleansing of the bronchi.

Timber houses are sustainable, renewable, and environmentally-friendly. Wooden structures can absorb and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. 0.8 tons of CO² is absorbed by every cubic meter of wood that is used in construction. Thus, if about 20 cubic meters of wood is used to build a house, the reduction in carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere is 16 tons. This is the same amount produced by a car that has travelled 90,000 km (at a very conservative estimate).

CO2 is absorbed by trees and stored by them in the form of carbon. This compound remains permanently bound also in wood-based finished products. It is only at the very end of the product's life cycle that the compound is released again and goes into the circulation cycle.
